Let's debate.

Richard Dawkins is a well known and highly respected scientist in academia. In 1976 Dawkins wrote The Selfish Gene, a book explaining a gene-centered view of evolution and put Dawkins on the map as an intellectual heavyweight.

Dawkins has recently left the biology lab with his recent book, The God Dellusion, to tackle the world of religion and philosophy.

Dawkins will happily take the profits from his new book.

Dawkins will gladly take speaking fees and be flown around the world.

Dawkins will enthusiastically respond to television offers (so long as he does not appear with Dinesh D'Souza).

However, Dawkins will not accept Dinesh's request for a debate. When asked why he won't debate Dinesh D'Souza, Dawkins says that he will not "debate creationists." Dinesh believes in evolution yet Dawkins will use this as his excuse.

It appears that Dawkins, when stepping out of the lab and into a different area of his expertise has a pick-and-choose mentality - choosing the fortune and neglecting to be held accountable for his theories and ideas.

The time has come for Dawkins to step up and defend his book, ideas, and atheism.
